I was sort of taken with the look of the cast valve cover for the Zetec. But, when I priced it out, the cost exceeded how much the look is worth to me. Yeah, nice looking Seven.

That "grey gadget" looks like a late model Stalker made by Stalker Cars in Clearwater, Florida by Scott Minehart who I suspect did most of the finish work on the "Stalkerrati".

If you think the cost is bad, just weigh the sucker. I recall it was adding a 'ton' to the weight of a standard zetec when I checked it out years ago. Its cast steel.

Makes me wonder what the reserve was or how close it got to it.

I would say that 40K is very close to the price ceiling that car would see.
