Ok Kitcat, I see where we were getting our wires crossed up. One of the ones for sale in the US is a Busa engine Caterham and 2 of the ones in Canada are Busa engines....I dont even pay attention to the Canadian ones. I wouldnt try to bring one down from Canada, they steering wheel would be sticky from maple syrup and poutine gravy.

Aha, mystery solved! Not sure how I missed the US one but, given it is of nearly identical spec but 1/2 the price, I'd favor the US version! I think it mostly boils down to what "needs work" means, as Croc noted. Every se7en I have bought has "needed work". So the question is how much work? As far as needing maintenance, I doubt that this Caterham is any different than any se7en I have owned, they tend to need much more mechanical TLC than your average mass-produced Miata, Camaro, etc., especially the ones that are heavily tracked.

Im used to working on stuff all the time. Ive owned Fords my whole life. Right now I have a 64 Fairlane with a 427W in it and building a 1955 T Bird. Also built a Factory Five Daytona Coupe and tracked it along with my 2015 Mustang pretty heavily.

Yes it’s listed under “Replica” in my list. Seller advertises in a few areas - I only listed the buffalo ad area. Been for sale on and off for close to 2 years.

Croc totally missed this one! Being a Texan, the seller is willing to take trades.

It's hard to believe something like that could be road legal.

I saw it alright but I thought there was no way anyone would think it was a seven or sevenesque. Grotesque possibly...

Drivers will get a new title "donors"

But it is funny. If they knock a 0 off the price, someone would drop in a SBC and be a hit at the next Grassroots 2019 Challenge. Or end up like the mythical guy that put a rocket in the back of an old Chevy...
