    Unhappy Caterham 7 For Sale

    1992 Caterham 7. Third owner. 3K miles on Chip Bond rebuilt 1700cc Kent - SAMCOR AX engine. Kent 244 cam, dual 40 DCOE's, roller rockers, Pertronix ignition, heater, Sierra 5 speed, DeDion LSD rear, FIA rollbar, 5 (genuine) Minilites w/Yokahamas on car, Michelin spare. Complete weather gear including tonneau and half side curtains. Original build manual and receipts. Dyno graphs available showing 113 BHP at the rear wheels.
    Need a car for casual touring with spouse. Possible trade for well-appointed MX-5. Car is located near Knoxville, TN. Price is $24K. Would prefer to sell within the club rather than taking the Ebay route. Call or email for more info. Don

    How hard is to swap those fender flares? wheel arch's? to the ones thats in ^ picture.

    swapping them out is pretty straight forward, but you'll have to deal with the holes left in the aluminum afterwards.

    I did just the opposite, just swapped my front cycle fenders for Clamshells.

    The front clams and headlight mount would have to be swapped for a new cycle fender and headlight mount. They are not the same...Clams have a different set up vs cycle fenders. The mounting points on the frame are the same for the headlights. As mentioned previously, you would want to cover the holes that were left after the clams would be removed. It is not unusual for the owner of a Se7en to swap from one to the other.

    I personally like the classic look of the clams...both fender styles have their pluses and minuses. You are correct about personal preferrences.

    Beautiful Cat, do the ear plugs down in the gear stick sock come with it?
