The brakes on my SV (built in 2002) have no identifying marks whatsoever, how can I determine what type of brake pads to replace with? Also, can anyone recommend pads for primarily track use?

Do you have the uprated 4 piston front calipers? If you do the Mintex 1144 up front and the blue dot sierra pads were the standard road/track set up and work well. I think the Padgid RS14 pads are another option for the front. They are NOT street pads. Tom

I used Performance Friction Carbon Metallic on my SV. They work well on the track but they do squeal bad on the street.
Mintex 1144 front and rear on the uprated 4 piston fronts, they work great on the street and on the track and no squealing at all. Also be sure to flush the brake fluid and use a high temp fluid.

Thanks for the tips everyone ... I do not have the 4 Pot calipers ... But I have already flushed brakes with high temp brake fluid
I have the 2 pot brake on the Zetec and the AP 4 pot brake
on the R300 and SVT. Honestly I cannot tell much of a difference between them.
Performance Friction Carbon Metallic on the 2 pot.
