    Default The Barber Museum

Some pictures from the Barber Museum on Saturday. I just love the 1:1 plastic mold tree of the Seven on display. It reminds me of the backdrop used on Top Gear, several years ago.

    Dean Giacopazzi's Seven.

Ron Flier, posing with a Cosworth engine. If you know Ron, ask him about why he is 'touching' the Cosworth!

Finally, a bunch of Sevens - up front at the concours!

Al, if you want to see Lots of Sevens, you didn't have to go to Birmingham, Al. You just need to come over to Millville NJ. in a few weeks. Tom

LOG 38 in Cleveland next year, hmmm, wonder if Nelsons Ledges will be the track day venue? I wonder if it finally be resurfaced?

@Tom: The perennial issue with your trackway weekends for me is that the fencing Summer Nationals are often held around the same time of the year. So I'm in Salt Lake City this year. Otherwise, I would have definitely popped in...as I have in years past.

Additionally, one thing I do like about LOG is that it allows me to see older (read "Lotus") Sevens in varying states of repair/originality...so I get a better benchmark of where my car stands in comparison wrt originality, aesthetics, etc.

Default A few more Sevens pics

My wife and I drove down to Barber Motorsports Park last weekend primarily for the HMSA event but also recognized Log 37 was going on. Took a few photos of the early Sevens arrivals and spoke with Norm Beaver before going back to our race viewing spot.

Number 61 drove Talladega and Barber Motosport park. The engine let go at Barber. 20 years on a engine that sees the occasional vintage race isn't bad.
