Although I ordered a set of the wire headlight covers above .. I am not pleased with them .. they are not as nice as others that I have seen and ... because they are a pain to mount ..

then while browsing the Soft Bits for Sevens site (http://www.softbitsforsevens.co.uk/) I found these nice Head Light Covers. (http://www.softbitsforsevens.co.uk/page44a.html) I might have to splurge!

I just received two custom 7" covers for my Rotus headlights. They were made by a woman in the UK. I sent a paint swatch of my fender color and she made 7s in that color thread on the covers.

nice! :D

I mean if the idea is to stop breakage via rock chips then this has to be the way to go, plus you can use them on your seven iron.
( I think I would cut the top pull tab off tho).
BTW what tyres are on there?

i'm guess for the uninitiated that the UK plate, the softbitsforsevens cover, the Avon CR500 tyres, and the SV size snout that this not exactly the Rotus. I must of just sounded like Al.

anyways, we get to tell someone other than Mazda, "get back to work on the car!"
srsly, get the Celica fix0r'd!

and besids, there is good knock off of the 7 headlight covers on ebay. doesn't have the piping iirc, but not near JJ's prices.

In Calif. the man can give you a ticket for that type of headlight cover on your street headlights but they also require that you have any off road lights covered if the vehicle has them and is used on the street such as the type mounted in a brush gard.

Rob,

I think the wire stone guards are worth the effort to mount them (tho' I haven't got mine mounted yet) KAR120C had them, so they are almost required.

Tastes are very personnel, but those soft covers, emmm, not my choice. :)

Cheers,

John
