As my car is undergoing its transformation, various Rotus bits and pieces are available for sale. I'm holding some pieces for various members here... listing those too, and denoting them.
4 BBS wheels with Toyo RA-1 tires (alot of tread left) - Holding for Robert
Supra solid axle rear with disc brakes - Holding for Robert
Front upper Aarms - I believe these are the later "reinforced" Aarms as some of the early cars had bending problems: $200 I don't believe I promised these to anyone
Rear fiberglass fenders - pair. painted green right now. need to be repainted. I'm thinking about selling them with the standard issue Rotus (Toyota) tail light assemblies - $350 (or $300 without the lights). I don't believe there are any issues with the fiberglass on these. These are the wider fenders that Rotus made. I can check the width if anyone is interested. These fenders cost $400 new from Dennis, without the aluminum or tail lights.
pair of Coveland front aluminum fenders for 15" wheels. One of the two fenders has several rivet holes drilled into it, the other one is totally new. I'll sell these for 70% of whatever the coveland going price is.
pair of SEVEN exhaust shields from Martin (in UK). These are aluminum ones and 36" long. Never mounted. 80% of Martin's price.
Front calipers, uprights, pads and rotors - one rotor is scraped up... obviously needs pads. I have new pads to go with it. The other rotor is almost new. I have one new still-in-the-box lower ball joint, and another almost new balljoint is on the driver side upright. Solder Guy was interested in these... offer me a price.
I have a variety of VDO gauges that are pretty old.

We a bit broke at the moment, too many other car treasures. If someone else comes forward then...

Mazda, what is the depth on the exhaust shields, and what does 80% of Martin's price equate to in USD?
Thanks, Steve.

I think I paid 50 GBP (100 USD) for each (plus shipping for both, and my grill) ... so price would be $80. I'm not sure what you mean by depth, but the inside diameter is a little over 5", and the length is 36". When I got them from Martin, you could see some prints from his roller on the very ends of the shield... I tried to take a picture of that. If your wife come up to DC, perhaps I can give her one, and you could try it on... if it doesn't work, or you don't like it, return it, or hang on to it till 7/7/7.

I would be interested in the upper arms .. if mine are not the stronger ones. Can you make a pic of these?
I would be interested in one exhaust shield if someone wants just one also.
I'm interested in the ball joints. Would you post the part number of the ball joints so I can get an idea of price and include in the Rotus parts list?
Re: Calipers .. I've got my old set which I will probably clean up, hone and rebuild. I think that the rest of us Rotus purists could pool our parts for the future.

I don't know the difference between the stronger and weaker ones... i'll take a pic tomorrow.
Steve would only want one, so if you want the other, that'd be good... I'd like to find buyers for both, because if I have 2, at least I can put them on at a later date. One does me no good... let's wait and hear back from Steve.
The ball joint part number is the same one as in the "Rotus parts list" in the tech section.

Mazda,
If available I would be interested in one of those exhaust shields provided they fit. On my real size Caterham I only have 28 inches of length. Can these be cut down?

Mazda,

I don't think they'll work for 28". A couple of inches could be shaved off, but I think if it's cut down to 28", it'll be into the oval hole pattern and won't look right.

I think that I'll stay with my Aarms for now .. until 7/7/07. Robert: Do your Aarms look like Mazda's?
I still want the two lower ball joints, exhaust shield, and if you will throw in the two upper ball joints that would be great!
