Site Suggestions

As the number of members increases, I'm looking for ways to improve the site. I have thought about dividing up the Tech sections, so that good technical threads can reside there, rather than the General section.



I'd like your suggestions on how to organize the Tech section. Initially I had thought about making one for each brand (Lotus, Caterham, Birkin, Locost, Rotus, etc...), but given the variety of construction methods and hardware used, it may be better split by Engine, Suspension, Instrumentation, Body, Wheels & Tires, etc...



Having the different sections allows you to subscribe to a particular section (there is a link near the bottom of the page in each section to subscribe/unsubscribe) and receive notification messages for new posts, without getting flooded with emails from the General section.



Also, if you have interesting articles about your cars, manufacturers, or general "7" related readings, please email or PM me a link. I will put a separate web page together with those.



Please feel free to post up any other thoughts or suggestions as well.

The new >home page (http://www.usa7s.com) is the first step in small changes to come. There will be some graphics added... perhaps a rotating GIF of some member rides.



For now, the point of changing the home page was to display shortcuts to the most recent topics on the left. As other sections of the forum become more active, this feature will come in handy.



If anyone has graphics experience, I could use some help with a banner design.
