I know some of you have checked out the DP1 website with the DP1 track car and the 2.8L 375hp V-8 powered Ariel Atom. But if you click on "Past" and go about a third of the way down, there's a nice write-up on the build of his '01 Westfield Megabusa. The website is really interesting for anyone who loves design, engineering, and cool cars!!

I was following that Megabusa while he was building it. It was a good inspiration for my long and drawn out build. I wish that I had the budjet that Dennis has for his projects.

Scott, the current owner of that Megabusa, is bringing it out to our NASA event this weekend (Buttonwillow, Ca.). I'm looking forward to finally seeing the car in person as I too followed dp's build with great interest(before I had my own Seven!). If I get a good photo I'll post it up here.

Sorry, no photo as I forgot the camera. Maybe Gert (Slomove) can post the photo of our seven Sevens packed in the rental garage, which includes the Megabusa. Scott's car has a full cage now so he must be serious about racing! Unfortunately an oil leak and rain on Sunday limited his track time.

Here is the address of the photo, taken by Doug at the California Caterham Club web site. Seven Se7en's packed in a two car garage, and yes we could still close the door!

looks like you can't hotlink from ccc... you'll have to save the image and then upload it here, or post a link to that thread.
