Is this car still for sale? The e-mail I sent yesterday has not been answered & my effort to PM Al has been unsuccessful. If it is still available, please PM me. Or, email me: mjmooney@fuse.net.

Thanks Al.

I am actively looking for a 7 and this one is on my short list. Price seems a bit high for a crossflow car, but if price is negotiable....? I am checking out Birkins too which offer a bit more bang for the buck: nice Zetec cars are listed @ $22K, so we'll see.

Congrats!

I've always loved the paint on that car. Maybe after this road trip, you'll be inclined to meet up with a few more Se7eners...maybe the first full weekend in July? :d

Perhaps...wonder if Keith Barrett's car was sold to someone who lurks here?

Keith?

Bump. After 4+ years of automotive bliss I am selling this for a more track oriented 7. It needs a few items of routine maintenance (speedo just quit, oil change, tail light lens broke, etc.) and I am leaving for vacation now so its not officially for sale for anther 2 weeks.

From one crossflow owner to another trying to sell their cars, I've always thought your car was gorgeous Mike!

Best of luck with the sale and it's a stellar price! If you end up selling for $22.5k, I may have to come down a bit on my price!

Bump-I am selling this Caterham now, after 4+ years of ownership and have reactivated this old post to poach its photos.

My plan is to take some newer photos today and add them to the new and separate for- sale post on this forum ("'97 Caterham for sale"). The car has not changed any so these photos pretty much show it as it currently appears. The Brooklands wind screens in my avatar photo are not going with the car, I am keeping them for use on my new Birkin.

I like the idea of His and Hers Sevens! Can you sell her the idea?

Don't think so,in 4+ years she has ridden in it to the end of the block, once:). So, I am counting my blessings here.

hey kitcat, I've got you beat with 3 sevens! The latest being a Deman sr7 with busa power.
I see no need for 3 so the 76 caterham and 1991 centaur are for sale. although it would be nice to keep a spare if the deman needed some work done to it.

Thanks Bball. I had not seen that post. Actually, I may have found a nice Caterham here in Oregon, less than an hour from my house that is owned by Jim Fraser (who frequents this board), but we are waiting for a dry day (it's raining all this week) for me to visit Jim and check out the car. I can't wait!

A dry day in Oregon?
I had to wait 5 months for a dry day when I was in PDX.

I hope this year is more obliging.

LOL! It's not that rainy in Ashland where I live or in Grants Pass where the car lives. We're just over the California border. Spoke with Jim last week. What a great guy! I'm looking forward to seeing the Caterham soon.
