Wanted Ford 1172

I am looking for a Ford 1172 side valve (Flat heads rule!) and gear box for my 7. Yes; I intend to replace the BMC-A with something heavier, having less power and poorly selected gear ratios.

Hi Dean,

There's a place in Stratford, Ct. that does a lot of business (and vintage racing) with early Lotus 6's, 7's, and Morgan's that used that motor. I haven't had any personal experience with them, but might be worth checking.
