When I decided to use my Miata track wheels on my SV, I had adapters made by a machine shop. When I put a set a Panasports on the car they also came from a Miata and I needed another adapter for the spare tire mount.
The same fellow who machined my transmission tailshaft to fit in the Caterham tunnel made this one for me. Too bad the adapter won't be all that visible when on the car.
Nice work! How much did it cost you?

He didn't charge for it. We exchange favors from time to time.
He is coming out to take measurements on my SV sometime soon and is planning a scratch build of an SV using Miata drivetrain and suspension components. Given the quality of his work the car will be something very special.

Had a machinist friend back home offer to store my 7 over the winter in exchange for being allowed to strip and measure it. The copy he made is stunning... even hand formed his own alloy skins. Yikes!
