Does anyone have the spark plug torque for a Zetec? It is for a SVT if there is a difference. I can't seem to find a repair manual for a Focus with a SVT. Any suggestions ?

I believe 15 ft-lbs for the normal Zetec. The SVT probably the same?

I saw a post on another forum that had a bunch of torque specs for a non-SVT Zetec. It listed spark plug torque at 11 ft. lbs.

I checked my manual and it listed spark plug torque between 9-13 ft-lbs.

I ended up following the non-SVT manual guidance for my SVT as I was like you - could not find a manual. It has worked fine for the last 2 years without an issue.

I have ford factory manual for 2003 focus with svt engine info. plug torque is 11 lb-ft . same as std. zetec .BTW I purchased manual off ebay for about $30
