My 1990 Rotus has like a 1948 design Volkswagen Beetle windshield wiper system with floppy, ineffective action. I'm guessing you Cat folks have something nice, but what about other 7 variant folks? Is there a simple system that actually works effectively and isn't floppy and flimsy?

The wiper system on my S1 is very effective. I tend not to drive it when it rains, though.

I also have an S1 which has a very good wiper set up. But I use RainX and very seldom have a need to use the wipers when caught in the rain. plus it makes it much easier to remove the bugs. If use RainX after a few applications it seems to last longer. I had a contract with a detailer for my pickup truck that included a product called Aquapel that worked just as good as RainX but it would last for the best part of a year. I never took time to research where to get it.
