I've talked to Dave many times...
He's a friend of Bob Drye.
I think he used to work for a NASCAR team. should be an interesting car.

Boy oh boy, if I could only get that across the country cheap enough, I would make him an offer on that bad boy.

And what? He'll deliver it?! I wonder if all of that would fit in the back of a UHAul 3/4 ton truck? The cost of gas to drive all the way ther with my own truck would be huge.

The high bid was $2225.00 but it didn't meet reserve so it didn't sell. I'm REALLY surprised it didn't bid higher....

It ended early because I made him an offer for a trade that works out for both of us. It will be coming to MN by Thanksgiving.

Congrats Glen. I so wanted that but couldn't come up with the scratch and solution to the logistics. You got a heck of a head start there. Now if I can only find something like that closer to home. Good luck.

Thanks guys, it'll be quite a haul to go get it, but appears to be a great headstart, Dave obviously wasn't cutting any corners. Unfortunately I'm not quite ready to start on it yet, so I may have to keep it locked in the trailer until I finish a few other projects, but this should keep me motivated. I'll have a build log on locostusa when I get started.
