Maybe I should just ramble on over here, who's going to complain? 2 people http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/biggrin5.gif Tell the Web I just ran new horn wiring today. Yesterday covered the dash. I have to weld up exhaust guards as soon as its above the teens. Last week I worked 17 hrs, 16hrs, 14 hrs, and then 30 hrs straight until earlier today. Coupled with freezing weather, it's totally gotten me out of the sevenin' mood. http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/cryin.gif

One positive thing I have noticed about BEC owners... you guys do seem to produce alot more videos of your rides. Definitely helps me cope with the winter blues.

I bet Mazda and V8 guy still go thru life 1/4 mile at time and chances are they still have those way cool mullets. http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/rofl.gif
Skip, I seen the new suspension systems using air. I have air shocks front and rear but if a front line ruptures the nose will grind right into the ground. The Corvette like front leaf helps with the load and is a backup if I loose air pressure out on the road. Its not like I can press the Onstar button. http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/smile5.gif

In just a few more weeks (or less) there will be a steady stream of videos from me as the car makes it out to some events. I asked for a bullet cam for my B-day so there will be LOTS of interesting shots and angles coming in the future. http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/yesnod.gif

when i bought my camaro engine, the guy gave me his mulet http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/biggrin5.gif.
Actually, I've never had the rotus to the strip (it will need a 6 point roll bar), and my vette only once, but I do autox both cars fairly regularly.
The disadvantage I have in autox is obviously the extra drivetrain weight I carry without being able to use any of it. I'd love to run with you guys in some highspeed twisties though.
And look - a little razzing, and the post count in BEC section has gone from 6 to 19 http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/smile5.gif

http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/coolgleamA.gif that's on my list, along with a squad splitter.
I also have a ford 9", bigger wheels and tires, new body panels.
Looks like I have to take a birthday mortgate http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/lol.gif

No doubt!
I have a few other items on my wish list as well. Power Commander engine management piggy back, flatshifter, gear position inicator, multi-led shift light...
That should do for now. http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/eek6.gif

Mazda,
We need to get you to a track event...
There are several at VIR this spring that you could do. I will likely be at most of them. Then you could realize the "full potential" of the Rotus. http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/biggrin5.gif

OK, so now I know about leaf springs and air springs in a Se7en.
What is a squad splitter? Are you doing a slalom through a squad of Marines?
Speaking of track days, are there any open track events just before or after the 7/7/07 event I can participate in while I am in that part of the country?

sorry... I meant quad splitter... you hook up to 4 cameras to it, it produces one composite image of all 4, so you can point one to your feet, one to your instruments, one ahead, and one behind, etc...

Never been to a Drag race. The Cobra at 105k still has the original everything including clutch and T5, but is on it's 6th set of tires. Building a blown 41 Willys PU but it has AWD.

I would really like to see pics and info on this. The initial planning stages of the 7 I had thought about air suspension but had discounted it for now.<edited><editID>locostv8</editID><editDate>2007-02-09 21:16:55</editDate></edited>

Oh man, I missed this post. I seriously do need to get to a track event. I'm hoping to get a real roll bar on the car in the next couple of months.
It would be nice to actually go full throttle for more than a second at a time http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/lol.gif
I did a little experiementing to verify, and sure enough, I have an open diff - so a torsen will be going in.
I've resisted the track urge because at the moment if I wreck it, I can't replace it.
We seriously do need to give each other rides though.
