Creating links?

How do you guys create the links to another thread or even another website that shows up simply as the word "here" or "link" in underlined blue instead of cutting and pasting a long webpage address?

Remove the spaces in this example:

[ url = www.gwellwood.com ] HERE [ /url ]

HERE (www.gwellwood.com)
