Hill Country Tour 09 Update

This years Hill Country tour is scheduled for October 25th & 25th. Responce has been good, and it's going to be a great event. Twelve 7's have signed up, and there are 3-4 more that hope they can make it.

Today Ken (speedcraft) and I drove the Kerrville/Medina/Leaky/Hunt/Bandera loop in our Caterhams with LOST (Lotus Owners of South Texas). Great roads and scenery. A bit cold in the morning but warms up after lunch at Leaky.

great driving roads, not much other traffic for the time of year...best of all, no cops that i can remember seeing...look forward to seeing you guys in a couple weeks

Hoping to participate on Saturday 24 Oct (and am assuming the original 30 Sep announcement that event will be held on 25th and 25th is an error). Probably unable to arrive on Friday or stay for Sunday. Need to know time and place for Saturday meeting and departure, and also proposed lunch stop (in case I'm running late). Will trailer parking be available at departure site? If not, where to park it?

8:30 am at Sunday House Inn in Fredericksburg. Lunch at Eagle Cafe in Leakey 11:40 am. I saw some trailer parking along the side streets and inside the motel parking lot.

Many thanks to Phil for organizing the event. We had a great time meeting new friends and enjoyed the company of fellow Seven owners.

Those of us who participated were treated to terrific views, interesting routes and very pleasant fellowship.
