The local British car guys had a show saturday, and had a great turnout of about 125 cars. I entered my Ultralite along with the guys from STALLS ( St. Louis Lotus Lovers) the local Lotus Ltd affiliate.
The Loti included two Esprits, two Exiege's (one a limited edition S260 Sport) an Elan, a Caterham, my Ultralite and two 11's, one a Westfield, and the other an original Lotus 11. It was recently purchased by Charile Van Dyke, and it is absolutely beautiful, and in fantastic condition.
Here's a shot of the group, and a few of Charlie's car , which took first place in the Lotus class. I was lusting for that green 11.
I also included a shot of a 1959 Berkeley with a 500cc Enfield. I had seen the car before at the Monterey Historics and it turns out the owner has moved to St.Louis, and has raced the Berkeley at Monterey and in Europe. I once had a Berkeley, but it had the 3 cyl Excelsior two stroke motorcycle engine, not as fast as the enfield models. There were so few Berkeleys that I never thought I would see one again.
