I need suggestions / source for reverse lights.
In the process of mounting new rear fenders, I'm scrapping my original Rotus Lights and going with Caterham ones. So I need some reverse lights.
Any suggestions? Should I mount on the fender or the body?

Mine hangs of the bottom of the boot floor. I happen to like this solution better than drilling yet another hole into the painted skin. Which is why my rear license plate bracket comes up from underneath the car too.

Mine are a licence plate light from Del City (http://www.delcity.net). Inexpensive and they work nicely.

Check out www.customdynamics.com. They specialize in lights for bikes but I have mounted a 14" red strip on my roll bar as a high mounted breaklight and a 6" white strip under both taillights as back-up lights. They are small but very bright.

Is there a legal requirement for the reverse light? My reverse light switch broke long time ago and I never bothered to fix it because I don't drive backwards at night that often.

I think yes. It is expected to be seen when backing up in a parking lot.

I belive the reverse light may be a state requirement. The Michigan vehicle inspection sheet doesn't list the back up lite as a required item on the check sheet.
