Will the original bike pump be OK when mounted in the tank at the back of the car? On the bike the distance between pump and injection is only a few inches... I am concerned about the pump coping with the extra plumbing length.
Anyone used the bike pump? Thanks.

Hayabusa engine and aftermarket (car) pump here. If memory serves me from building her the pump is a Walbro unit.

Considering the down$ide of running too lean, I'd go with an oversize car pump, with a pressure regulator and return-to-tank line.

When I bought my engine, I also bought the in tank pump and cover flange. I cut the fuel lines in half so the ends would be the same as original then used large steel brake lines between the tank and the engine. Its about 6' between them. I've been running since 2006 and not a hiccup, You will be fine run it.
