I am keen to know what diffs people are using in their bec's... something with an ali housing and a ratio around 3.3 would be ideal.. Thanks.

What's the ratio, what does it weight, and most important, how many foot pounds of torque are you going to punish it with? Ask 7evin!

Yamaha R1, about 500kgs all up.... 195x55x15 tyres....
I got a ford sierra rear end hook-up to a Honda firebalde that puts out 88.30 Nm (9.0 kgf-m or 65.1 ft.lbs) @ 8500 RPM on some 185x60x14 tyres.
(I need to check the tires size again)

IRS or straight?
IRS, Ford Sierra, 3.62 rear ratio with a Quaife LSD. No clue what it's rated for power/tq wise.

A non turbo Busa engine develops about 100 ft lbs of torque. Why not try to find something very light?
Bob, if you are speaking to me I will be putting a turbo system on soon.
Hank, I don't see pins in your seatbelt hooks!!!
Better add that to the "list" before any track day :)
Spaz, I will be installing 6-pt harnesses to replace the 4-pt Westfield harnesses in a few weeks. What pins do you speak of?

Re: Pins
The little holes in the latch part of your seatbelt hooks. They take cotter pins to keep the belts from coming off accidentally.

What weapon do you want me to bring?

Yep, what he said. I can just picture it now, Hank is at the track for his first test run and the teck guy walks up to the car and says, where are the cotter pins, I can't let you run unless you have cotter pins on your belts.

Hank:
Are you using a kit?
Bob, I haven't bought anything yet. Any recommendations? I'd like the turbocharger to tuck under the engine and only the downpipe (exhaust) stick outside the body.
Here's a pic:

Holy Mother...
That is crazy Hank.
You have any more pictures of that car?
Spaz, unfortunately that is the only picture I have of that car. I found it on the WSCC Forum.

I'm going to say that the picture is of a Mitsubishi TD04L-14T-6 Volvo Turbo.
