tail light assemblies can be purchased here...
>http://www.man-a-fre.com/pa/taillights.htm (http://www.man-a-fre.com/pa/taillights.htm)
I called these folks and talked to a technical specialist on 805-578-8712 and found him to be very helpful and knowledgeable. He told me this was a '74 - '76 vintage part. I forgot to ask for the specific model application. In any event, they carry the complete lamp assembly or just the lens. Since I really need only the lens I ordered one at $14.95 plus shipping. Note that the original equipment part was "handed" but the replacement part will work on either the left hand or right hand side. This is true for the lamp assembly # 51550-60190 or just the lens.

Website for Toyota Axles: http://www.norbie.net/toyotaaxle/
As an example of how to decipher Toyota axle codes:
The '80 Supra from which I grabbed the solid rear axle has code "F312" which corresponds to:
a 7.5" Ring Gear, a 3.909 gear ratio, and 2 pinions with no LSD.
MA47 Solid Axle (coils) F312: 7.5", 3.90:1, 2 pinions, Open 4x114.3 1410mm Solid disc, 1 piston calipers, integrated drum handbrake
Corolla:
TE71 Solid Axle (coils) S312: 6.4", 3.90:1, 2 pinions, Open 4x114.3 1410mm Drum

Mazda mazda! :)
Actually I have no idea .. there's some creative plumbing for my engine to the radiator .. They did not go with the standard Toyota radiator for my Toyota 2TG engine ...

I know I had nothing to do with it. :D
Mine seems to be significantly modded - it fits the nose cone PERFECTLY. Unfortunately it has developed a few leaks.
