Titleing a rotus

I am buying a rotus and in order to title it here in Ohio I have to ahve it inspected by the title bureau. Does anyone know if the vin is tagged on the rotus chassis or do I need some etching done?

it should be on the driver side, near the top of the footwell in the engine compartment.
