I went to adjust the rear shocks today, and the rebound knob is stuck. Can't turn it in either direction. Any ideas before I call QA1?

Someone once told me that if you can't fix it with a hammer it's an electrical problem. :d

Sorry Mazda, I couldn't resist. Tom

Mazda,

Take the weight off the rear suspension. I have been told that adjustable valve shocks if set with the adjustment valve full open or closed and then loaded with weight that they can sometimes stick under load.

Tried that Martin, no Cigar. Then I tried Tom's approach (with pliers) and it worked :D

I don't have any QA1 experience, but on all the other dampers I work with (Penske, Ohlins, etc) the rebound control is a needle-and-seat orifice. Need to be careful not to bottom it out too tightly as you approach "full stiff", or the needle will jam in the tapered bore seat. Light finger torque only, never tools.
cheers.

mine was full soft. With the pliers, as soon as it moved a little bit (way less than one click), it went back to normal... clicks normally, etc...
