running out of gas in your Seven. For some odd reason, I think it happens with the Seven more often than with other cars http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/smile5.gif



While on the trip with Al, Marcy and Bill, we had some good ones.



Mine had to do with the plumbing in my tank leaving the last 1/3 of the tank useless. It happened on the DC beltway during morning rush hour. Fortunately the car didn't finally die until I was at our office building.

I do however have a funny story in which I was driving along some road when all of a sudden the engine died and I was coasting. Having recently replaced the alternator after just such an occurrence, I was more than a little   http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/mad5.gif.



However as I was still coasting down, just to check I went to try the ignition and found the key was in the off position.   http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/eek6.gif



Turns out I'd gone over a bump and my knee had knocked the ignition switch off.   http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/lol.gif
