View Full Version : There is a god. 13" Team Dynamics wheels available

I get lost in offset talk, so someone let me know if either offset available will work for a Megabusa (et15, et35). I really don't want to run spacers. Is it okay to run both 205's and 185's on 13x4" rims?

I'm sure that these wheels are NOT 13 x 4----they must be wider (the '4') refers to the number of wheels in their tire/wheels package.
I can't tell from the site how wide the wheels are. You would need to find that out.
If the wheels are 6 inches wide you could run a 185 size tire, no problem.
To run a 205 size tire you would probably want wheels 7 inches wide.
Don't trust me though. I would suggest that you go to the tire manuf. site and they will usually tell you what width wheel they recommend for a specific width tire.
If you try to fit a wider tire than is recommended you end up 'pinching' the contact patch, negating the advantage of the wider tire print.
Also realize that a wider wheel/tire combo will weigh more (and that extra weight is rotating mass which really affects a light weight car like a Seven).
Good luck and let us know what you find out.

Okay, I received an email from Mac1 this morning. Final verdict is I will run these wheels, but 10mm spacers will be needed as well. I will get the spacers here: Project Kics spacers (http://www.evasivemotorsports.com/merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=Kics_Wheel_Spacer).
Hi Henry,
Thanks for the enquiry. We have supplied a few of the 13" wheel/tyre sets for Wesfield owners. The wheels are 7" wide and have an offset of ET 35 (basically the same offset as the 15" x 7" pro-race 1.2's as Westfield fit).
I recommend 185/60 x 13" R888 tyres front (to help turn in) and 205/60 x 13"
R888 on the rear to maintain the overall gearing (ie 205/60 x 13" dia = 576 mm , 195/50 x 15" = 577 mm)
The wheels are available in Black (ex stock) and white, silver and gold to order (7-10 working days)
If you need any more info please do not hesitate to ask
Regards
Mark
Tom @ Manikllc.com gave me a price today for the 13" Team Dynamics wheels. I'm ordering them when I order my car tomorrow!
For the record the wheels I ordered were 13x7", ET 25, Black. 2 months turnaround.
I highly recommend Tom @ Manikllc.com for the transaction!
Team Dynamics is lagging behind on creating a batch (400 units) of 13" wheels for me to run track days. In the meantime, I have ordered a 15" set of Team Dynamics wheels for my street tires.
