I recently broke a throttle cable on my Lotus 7 S4. One of my over the winter projects is to change the linkage. I have twin DCOE40 and the cable runs from the LEFT (driver's) side, then under the carbs to the attach point in between. I've seen various linkages that mount on top and under (e.g. http://www.rdent.com/pages/carblink.html). I assume clearances over (and also under) the carbs is an issue.
Is there any advise on how to proceed? I'm sure this more difficult with a left hand drive car. Thanks
