I'm posting this for my friend Jeff (ival @ locostusa.com) who is running the show...
There is a trackday on May 8th, at the Talladega Gran Prix racetrack in Alabama. Admission is $125 per car. Start driving at 8am, finish at 5pm. 3 cars are allowed on the track at a time, and there are 12 slots total. That means a lot of track time. A LOT of track time.
The track itself is a motorcycle track, which means tons of run off room. I've been there (with jeff, in my old, zero prep saab 900) and had a ton of fun. There should be no tech inspection, just common sense safety stuff.
If you've never been on a track, this is a great time and place to try.
