Saturday, March 29, 2008. Free for spectators. On Georgia Tech's campus.

This is one of the better car shows I attend. There are a lot of high quality cars that range from super exotic (Enzo) to cool (home made tube frame dragster), to unusual (steam engines). Entering the judged car show is limited Georgia tech students and alumni.

There was one stalker 7 there last year, but I didn't have the chance to talk to the owner. Anyone know who the tech/atlanta area stalker owner is?

Come by and check it out. Ill be there.

eVox,

I am pretty sure it would be Paul Whittle from Alpharetta. I could see it in the background of the second photo from last year. If it was gray and black, it would be him for sure. Heck of a nice guy if you have the opportunity to meet him.

I had a great time at the GaTech car show .. lot's of great cars ! Old new .. electric ..

Paul Whittle made it again ! Everyone who saw his Stalker kept saying, "Is that a GM V6 3.4l?" :)

Andrew's frame IS on the ground with four wheels, IRS, bare motor, tranny, steering and ebrake! It looks great! I had a stupid grin on my face just looking at his Locost accomplishments. (dumbest comment: "It won't go anywhere without a driveshaft.")

There was an Aerial Atom .. which looks cool.

I talked with two guys about MegaSquirt EFI control ..

Bumped into William .. with his daughter Lucy ..

All this got me even more excited about getting my car painted and back running soon!

When did your car stop running? I must not be paying attention. I thought you had it on the road.

It was my first time, too. Ditto on being thrilled with Andrew's roller. He's done a ton of work since our meetup earlier last month.

I've got pictures of the Atom (http://www.flickr.com/photos/ntscblog/sets/72157604309696322/), as well as of a few of the other cars (http://www.flickr.com/photos/ntscblog/sets/72157604314280831/), on my Flickr site. I'd have taken a ton more pictures, but it's a little difficult with a 4-month-old strapped to your chest. :)

When did your car stop running?

It's operational .. just up on all fours until suspension redone, paint applied and a new aluminum fuel tank is fabricated.
