Begging for Tools and Assistance

There is a that time in every Caterham assembler's journey when it is necessary to beg for tools and assistance. Please PM me with your email address if you

1. Can loan a 41 mm socket and 200 lb torque wrench.

2. Can loan an engine stand and/or hoist. (I have a garden trailer to haul these with.)

3. Want to be present to wrestle the engine into the chasssis in February. First try, anyway.

I have a stand and a hoist that my friend is currently using. How long / when do you need it? nevermind... read the rest of your post. Let me see if my friend can free those pieces... it's the guy in the "Evening fun" thread, so I have to ask politely :lol:

Nice web site, It's nice to watch a build. I have your torque wrench, but I don't have a 41 mm socket.
Priced a 3/4 drive 41mm at 12 bucks, if you need it once, you'll need it again. Whats it for ???

The 41 mm socket and 200 ft./lb. torque wrench are for the rear wheel hubs.:crazy:

I have a torque wrench (bought for the exact same reason) that I could bring up to DC if that helps. When I did my rear hubs I went to my local garage and borrowed a 41mm socket for an hour - they didn't even charge me - it's worth asking 'cos it's probably (hopefully) a one time use thing. I could be around to help with installation, where are you exactly?

I have to admit I was influenced somewhat by your car when I decided to pick bare aluminium. It'll just take awhile to look like yours. :d

I have a hoist and stand you can use as long as you need and when done you can sell it and forward me the money or ..... It just sits in my garage here in Aldie. Just don't want to move it to Alabama.
