I'm not certain, but I believe this is a car I saw out in LA back in July while I was there for a wedding and there happened to be a car show in the parking lot (with 2 Sevens!).
I recall it looking quite sharp. If it's the one I saw, it is a pity the owner has to sell it as I recall it took him something like 5 years to get it registered in CA after bringing it down from Canada (during which I am sure he never drove it on the road; even once :d )

That car has been on RMSC's used car "for sale" site for about a year. First it was $40K, then $30K, OBO. Does seem like a nice car, tho getting parts for its Vauxhall engine may be a challenge.

I don't think finding parts for the Vauxhall engine should be too much of a problem.
Nathan Down at RMSC is presently rebuilding a broken VX engine from a Salt Lake City-based Caterham. He readily obtained parts, and a new dry sump setup, from the UK.

You can find images from that car show here (http://www.johnmaclean.com/cruise/pages/34_MG_7208.htm).
Yes, my car didn't sell. I think its a good deal for a SB100 car. If anyone is interested they can email me at hpc92caterham at mac.com. I'm pretty sure the SB100 numbers will disappear in the first 4 hours again so here's a chance to get one already registered and legal. I took it out for a couple of runs around the block the past couple of days. Runs great and is just the way I remember it to be when I used to drive it more. I really love this car but I'm moving and need to sell them all.
thanks

For this price and with that option list the car would have been sold in Germany in a minute.

Hey Kitcat
I'm looking for $30,000 and I can definitely help arrange the shipping.

Put it in Hemmings. Also list it at elisetalk.com, a gathering place for mostly Lotus Elise/Exide owners. But there are a smattering of Sevens owners there and Caterhams occasionally pop up on their Lotus cars for-sale section.
Your price is fair, tho maybe $27-28K is more realistic. Winter can be a hard time to sell a Seven. Last year a 3 year old Superlight with 220 hp, carbon fiber everything, 11K miles sold for $32K on the Elise Talk site. I wish I had bought it!
I watched prices on these for years before taking the plunge. The prices for nice Kent-engined Cats seems to be $22-25K, for Zetec versions add about $3-10K depending on power, options, condition, mileage, usage, etc. Of course, truly special cars have higher value.
Yours is a bit of an odd-ball in the states because of the engine type but is clearly comparable to the Zetec cars.

Well your right on the SB100 numbers... gone in 3 hours; and I didn't get one:cry:
Good luck, it looks like a very nice car.

I know where you can buy an SB100 number. It comes with a Caterham HPC thrown in.
