I was up in the Lake George area this past weekend and think it could be a nice spot for a NE regional. North of Bolton Landing (a little ways away from the main tourist area, which IMHO is just like any other touristy area) there is at least one great Se7ening road.

Any thoughts on this vs. Lime Rock Vintage? I like the Watkins idea, but fear that it's too much inland to attract many folks from MA or CT.

---

I'm considering the proposed VIR meet a "Mid-Atlantic" event, so the NE should have its own event for next year.

Hi guys,

I'm up for Lake George, LRP, Watkins Glen, or whatever for next year. I've been to WG once before and would have no trouble traveling there with the Birkin.

There's also a Car Museum in Saratoga Springs...and they seem open ot hosting a Se7ens visit.

u plan for this endeavor during summer break or will the family be seeing more than one se7en on the annual Navarro family retreat?

I think the peak season of summer would suck in the Lake George area, especially for driving....so perhaps Fall?

I think the Mid-Atlantic's VIR thing (in conjunction with some other group) is in the Spring, so a Fall date would work.

I'm supposed to be going to the Philippines for a few weeks in the summer, so anything longer than a long weekend over the kids' break is going to be tough.

Of course, there's always 2009....
